St Pats, truly understated elegance. The St Pats panel is like a 2' square relief scupture with a feminine feel to it projecting a perfectly balanced energy into a room. We feature St Pats in our own home in all the major areas with tulip in the bedrooms of an otherwise contemporary inner city apartment. It provides for us a welcoming and understated feel of luxury and balance without being intrusive. This pressed tin design was comissioned during the renovation of an 1830's Church the wooden ceiling of which, had been destroyed by fire in the late 1920's. We believe that the design was specially commissioned to provide the right atmosphere and a fire proof cladding to replace the varnished timber planking which was a feature of this, the oldest Catholic Church in the Australian Colony. We provide St Pats design in 2' square individual panels (600mm x 600mm) and they may be fixed to 600mm spaced battens by either four or 6 nails or rivets with no filling or further finishing required apart from painting. They are best combined with a filler strip to take up the space in the room from the central pattern block to the cornice and we have used the Ripple Filler strip and small Egg and Dart cornice in our own home. Some folk have taken the time to highlight in contrasting colours, aspects of the detail in each panel, to great effect.
