Marist Pressed Metal DesignThe Marist Panel was comissioned when we were renovating a major church hall project dating from the 1920's and the hall is now used by a leading high rise construction company as a head office and board room complex. This 3' square panel was designed to provide feature pattern blocks in vast areas such as Halls, Large Entrance Foyers and Racetrack Stands where any smaller sized panels would be lost in a vast and high ceiling.

Typically a ceiling will need to be larger than 10m x 10m to show off this pattern and in a much larger ceiling, the pattern would be formed into square or rectangular panels separed by metal clad beams or large pressed metal border and corner designs and filler patterns. The St Pats and Mark Foy borders are such cover strips and you can ask us to copy any existing pattern of folded or pressed section to enhance your own particular project. The Marist panel is a style that is neither especially period or art deco, but rather a subdued more Greco Roman style that will fit any style of building right up to the ultra modern high rise.
