Fish Scale Pressed Tin Panels

Fish Scale Pressed Metal PanelThe Fishscale pattern is exactly as named, consisting of repeated rows of scales around 2" wide by 3" long across the sheet.

This design was originally used as the roofing cladding for the small sun awnings over tropical style bungalows typical of the Australian and Pacific region from the 1930's and was one of the earliest pressed metal designs stamped into galvanised iron.

We produce 2' x 6' sheets of 0.4mm Galvanised Iron just like those provided 60 years ago, as well as 3' x 6' panels in etch primed aluminum. The fish scale panel lends itself to interior wall cladding and we see interior designers and home renovators constantly coming up with new applications. Lately we have been asked to provide this pattern in galvanised iron to face the front of bars and counters in public Bars and Coffee Shops to provide a durable decorative surface. In all public areas subject to knocking or kicking it is best to use the Galvanised option as also in the case of a roofing application which could be exposed to hail stones. Lower impact wall applications in domestic installations are quite well served with the aluminium panels.

Dimensions

900mm x 1800mm (Nominal 3' x 6') in 0.5mm aluminium or 600mm x 1800mm (Nominal 2' x 6') in 0.5mm galvanised iron.

Wunderlite Production Panels have been supplying quality pressed metal panels since the 1980's.

Our panels have been used in Modern and Contemporary Settings, Churches, Corporate Offices, Clubs and more.

Please contact us if you have a specific filler application as we do have a further variety of patterns which we have not included in our advertised range but which we are able to produce for specific orders. Again, the imagination of the interior designer is all that limits the application of any of our pressed metal panels being applied to modern decor.
